The Casa Mercatello apartments are found in the central part of the medieval Italian village of Mercatello sul Metauro in the Marche region of Italy. Mercatello is a small community of approximately 1,500 people who live life as it should be – simple and authentic, genuinely Italian.
The Casa Mercatello apartments are owned in partnership by a small group of Australian families, allowing them to visit and live the Italian life for one month every year.

The modern apartments are in the centre of the old town, overlooking a park and the picturesque hills and valleys of the surrounding area, steps from the town square, restaurants, shops and weekly markets.

Mercatello sul Metauro is a typical small Italian village in the upper Metauro Valley, on the road rising up through the Apennine Mountains, linking the Marche region with Tuscany and Umbria to the West.

Marche is one of the last undiscovered regions of Italy, bursting with hilltop towns, local culture, beaches, incredible food and landscapes. Casa Mercatello is the perfect base to explore this up-and-coming region.
